Cultural Proposals

In its institutional mission, the Italian Cultural Institute of New York supports the participation of individuals and institutions, and may accept proposals of cultural events, such as exhibitions, lectures, book presentations, film screenings, etc.

No specific restrictions are enforced with regard to topics or fields of interest. However, proposals are evaluated by way of the following criteria:

– Artistic and professional quality

– Relevance to the Institute’s programmatic lines

– Technical and economic feasibility

Please note that commercial or for-profit initiatives are as a rule not taken into consideration.

Should you wish to forward a proposal, please send an email to:

All proposals will be carefully evaluated. Nevertheless, in view of the very high number of requests, only those considered for possible inclusion in the Institute’s program will be answered.
