A panel presentation of Ernest Ialongo’s new book Filippo Tommaso Marinetti: The Artist and his Politics (Madison, NJ: Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2015).

The panel will consider the book and its contributions to the historiography of Italian Futurism, but also more broadly discuss the intersection of art and politics in Liberal and Fascist Italy, Fascist cultural policy, and the role of the intellectual in politics.
