Book Presentation:”My Antonioni”

Please join Istituto Luce Cinecittà and the Italian Cultural Institute for the presentation of the book ‘My Antonioni’ edited by Carlo Di Carlo. A selection of writings by Michelangelo Antonioni on cinema and on his works

 

Introduction by David Forgacs , Antonio Monda and Lila Azam Zanganeh.

David Forgacs, Professor of Contemporary Italian Studies at the New York University Department of Italian Studies. Areas of Research/Interest: Cultural history, media and politics in contemporary Italy; cinema and photography.

Antonio Monda is an Italian writer, film director, essayist, and professor at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He is the The Artistic Director of the Rome Film Fest and Artistic Director of the literary festival Le Conversazioni and the co-founder and curator of Open Roads/New Italian Cinema at Lincoln Center.

Lila Azam Zanganeh is the author of The Enchanter: Nabokov and Happiness, and of the forthcoming novel: Love, the World Suddenly Turns. She has taught literature and cinema at Harvard University. She was one of five judges for the 2017 Man Booker Prize.
