Duo Federiciano – Giovani Interpreti Italiani Series

Duo Federiciano, composed of Ferdinando Trematore, violin and Angela Trematore, piano, performs in the third evening of the series.

Born in 1994, Ferdinando Trematore develops an active career as a solo violinist and chamber musician. He has won first prize in more than 30 national and international competitions, both as soloist and chamber musician. Trematore began studying violin at five with his father and, at 15, under the guidance of Maestro Marco Fiorentini he graduated from the Conservatory “U. Giordano” in Foggia (Italy) with highest honors and Honors Distinction. He then studied with Maestro Boris Belkin at Zuyd University Conservatorium of Maastricht, where he obtained the Bachelor of Music Degree in April 2016 with the highest honors. Simultaneously, he graduated from the International Chamber Music Academy of Duino (Trieste) under the guidance of the “Trio di Parma”. In 2005 he founded along with his sister the Duo Federiciano, and they perform regularly in Italy and Europe.

 

Born in 1991, Angela Trematore began studying piano at the age of  six with Professor Sonia Trematore at the Civic Music School “L. Rossi “of Torremaggiore and later with Prof. Maria Rosaria Oliviero. In October 2009 she graduated with highest distinction from the Conservatory “U. Giordano” in Foggia under the guidance of M° K. Bogino and L. Pietrocini. She perfected in piano with Maestro Plano at the Accademia Musicale Varesina and chamber music with the Trio di Parma at the Chamber Music School International “Trio di Trieste” in Duino. In 2005 she founded with her brother Duo Federiciano. She has won awards in various national and international competitions. She also specialized in master classes with teachers like Bogino, Kornienko, Pompa Baldi, Cominati, Perticaroli, Ars Trio di Roma, Oland, Baglini, Monaco, Trio di Parma. In July 2013 she was admitted to the course of chamber music given by Maestro Lonquich at Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. In March 2013 she obtained the Master Degree at the Conservatory of Music “U. Giordano” in Foggia. She teaches piano at the High Music School in Aosta and is the artistic director of Women in Art Festival (dedicated to women composers and musicians) and World Artist Music Festival in Torremaggiore. She studies Chamber Music with flautist Vanessa Innocenti at Conservatory of Music “L. Marenzio” in Darfo Boario Terme (BS).
