The Alighieris after Dante

The Alighieris after Dante

Video interview with Pieralvise Serego Alighieri / Dante’s Room

After being exiled, Dante Alighieri spent many years in the Veneto region. His son Pietro bought a large estate in the Valpolicella area. This country house is still owned by his descendant, bearing the surname Serego Alighieri.

More details on the family history, and other tales, are revealed in a conversation – on wine and literature-  between Pieralvise Serego Alighieri, who still resides on the estate, and the director of the ICI Fabio Finotti.
