The Italian Cultural Institute promotes, organizes, and sponsors a variety of events with the goal of strengthening the cultural exchange between the United States and Italy. All initiatives are conceived to offer the American public a deeper and wider knowledge of contemporary Italian culture.
Where and How
With a few exceptions, all events taking place at the Institute are free and open to the public. Events taking place at other venues, on the other hand, may require admission. Institute Members are often entitled to discount tickets (see our Membership section for details). Detailed information on tickets and admission will be posted with the announcement for the specific events.
Reservations
For select events it is possible to place a reservation by clicking the RESERVE button that appears in the event’s page. After successfully completing the procedure, users will receive an automatic email reply with a link to confirm the reservation within 4 days.
Events changes
Programs are subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances. Notices will be posted on this website and sent by email to the Newsletter subscribers as soon as possible.
Calendar of events
Detailed information on current events is shown in individual pages for each event. A list of events for a particular category is obtainable by clicking the link for that category. Past events are searchable by date, category, titles, and names.
Events elsewhere
This section includes announcements to events of interest to Italian culture that are by other Institutions in our area of jurisdiction, without the participation of the Institute.
