The documentary Geographies of Courage tells the story of the intercontinental journey by artist Rosaria Iazzetta, within the Yellow horse evolution project, promoted by Yamaha Motor Japan and several cultural partners from Italy and Japan.

The aim of her journey was to analyze the conditions of women in different social environments. She traveled to 13 countries and 54 cities spanning from Italy, to Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Hungary, from Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, to China, South Korea and Japan.

The stories and life experiences of the 58 women interviewed along the way weave a social mapping of the conditions and challenges they face, providing an ethical and social vision, and a new and inspiring definition of courage.

Rosaria Iazzetta is an artist and Sculpture Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
