The Italian Cultural Institute, in collaboration with Magazzino Italian Art, is pleased to hosts this exhibition to highlight the works of incredible artists currently on view, or in the permanent collection at Magazzino, but also to underline the important and unique role played by Magazzino and its founders in promoting scholarship and advancing public appreciation of postwar and contemporary Italian art in the United States, with a special focus on Arte Povera.

The exhibition is divided into three sections, each with a single emblematic work by
Jannis Kounellis, Maria Lai and Lucio Pozzi.
