What would you change about the society you live in and how? What is your word for change?”.
Thousands of young people answered these questions. Each one of them chose a word of change and wrote a short composition summarizing what they would change as well as practical ways on how they would achieve it.
The book Manifesto for Change, Youth and Future is a collection of seventy-five of these inspiring writings, that can be a catalyst for change and might help us find our inner compass, in difficult times.
Parola ai Giovani, the documentary about the project, was launched at the Venice Film Festival and features Andrea Bocelli, Paola Egonu, Salvatore Esposito, Mimmo Paladino, Arnaldo Pomodoro, among many other extraordinary artists and personalities.
The Manifesto for Change – Youth and future is the international version of the Italian project Parola ai giovani, which Italian artist Giovanni Caccamo conceived and promoted in Italy between 2022 and 2023, to give young people a voice and give birth to a new humanism, in collaboration with the Vatican Museums and MAXXI – National Museum of XXI Century Arts. The project is also a follow up to his latest album Parola.
