Italian drummer Marcello Cardillo and pianist Tommaso Perazzo have been collaborating for many years, developing a deep musical connection. Active in the vibrant jazz scene of NYC as well as internationally, they will be joined by the iconic bass player Buster Williams, whose unmistakable sound has marked historic collaborations with jazz giants, such as Miles Davis, Art Blakey, Count Basie, Sarah Vaughan, Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock.
The trio will present music from their latest album “Portrait of a Moment”, a work that pays homage to the spontaneity and unrepeatability of every moment, both in music and in life. The repertoire, composed almost entirely of original pieces by all the members of the trio, blends the essence of the traditional piano trio with an adventurous and unpredictable approach.
