The exhibition will present Italian string instruments coming from four different cities, and made from the 17th to the 20th century. In particular, the only surviving violin made by Giovanni Pietro Caspani in 1657 will be shown. The instruments, property of the luthier and violin dealer Christophe Landon, will be played in an opening event by the Italian violinist Emanuele De Biase.
