Week of the Italian Language
This book presents the roses of a family of gifted flower growers and breeders of new varieties. The author represented the subject of the book through the criteria of truth and beauty intrinsic to the camera medium which he masters.Part of the images should be considered as a kind of reportage conducted between 2011 and 2012 by Luca Bracali in the Barni’s nurseries. In this respect the photographer once again exhibits the masterful skills gained in many decades of experience.
Luca Bracali has travelled to 131 countries, written four books, and won four international photo competitions. Since 2008 he has been a member of APECS Assoc. of Polar Early Career Scientists, for his contribution on environmental issues on the media.
Over 40 live-satellite radio and television interviews reported his arctic expedition. In 2009 he was the only reporter to reach on skis the geographic North Pole. In 2010 he debuted in the world of fine art photography and his pictures have been featured in several museums and galleries all over the world including Kiev, Rome and New York. In 2011 he worked on television as a presenter and director. In October 2012 and in May 2013 National Geographic published his reportages about Moai restoration on Easter Island and on the arctic Base “Dirigibile Italia” .
