On the occasion of the CSW68 sixty-eighth session of the Commission on the Status of Women, Women7, the Official G7 engagement Group focused on gender equality and women empowerment, will focus this side event on financial empowerment and concentrate on the need to recognize that financial inclusion of women and girls drives sustainable development and is a crucial step towards achieving social cohesion. Efforts must be made to build a new and better economic scenario in which all individuals can participate fully and fairly, thus reaching their full potential.
UN must urge countries to consider financial and digital education as a process built around the training needs of individuals based on strategies for upgrading and retraining skills.
We must protect all individuals, especially the most vulnerable and bridge the gender gaps by providing competencies that ensure sustainable and inclusive social development.
