Greta Scarano, known primarily as an actress, makes her directorial debut with La vita da grandi (Siblings) a film that delicately and with irony explores the theme of autism and family relationships, inspired by the true story of siblings Damiano and Margherita Tercon. With Siblings Scarano won the Best Director Award at the 2025 Nastri D’Argento.

About the film: Irene (played by Matilda de Angelis) is called back to Rimini, her hometown, to care for her autistic brother Omar. Determined to shape his future, Omar persuades Irene to help him become independent and chase his dream of fame as a rap singer.
