DRAWING NIGHT with artist Danilo Correale at CIMA

Join us for the last Drawing Night of the season, with artist Danilo Correale, held in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the International Studio & Curatorial Program. We open CIMA’s unique and intimate setting to artists, students, and others interested in trying their hand at studying these works through drawing — interacting with, analyzing, and drawing inspiration from Giorgio de Chirico and Giulio Paolini’s art.

Danilo Correale, winner of the 2017 Premio New York and an ISCP 2017 artist in residence, will lead the event, working in collaboration with artist Walter Benjamin Smith. The program will begin with an immersive art experience designed by Correale, interacting with the exhibition. Participants will have the opportunity to sketch for approximately an hour, before coming back together to discuss the works and share insights into what was learned in the process.

Paper has been provided by the legendary Italian papermaker Fabriano, who recently celebrated the 750th anniversary of papermaking in Fabriano, Italy.

Limited to 30 participants. Ticket: $8, free for CIMA Members.
