Grants and awards for the dissemination of Italian books, the translation of literary and scientific works (including in digital format), and the production, dubbing, and subtitling of short films, feature films, and television series.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation promotes the dissemination of Italian publishing and cinematic works abroad by providing incentives for translation and for dubbing/subtitling; these serve as a strategic tool for promoting the Italian language and culture internationally.
Two types of financial incentives are offered:
1) A grant for the translation of an Italian work abroad that has not yet been published, and for the production, dubbing, and subtitling of short films, feature films, and television series;
2) An award for an Italian work that has already been translated abroad.
In accordance with the procedures set out in the call for applications:

Applications must be submitted annually to Italian Cultural Institutes and Italian diplomatic and consular missions abroad, using the appropriate application form 2026 IT/EN
The deadline for submitting applications is March 31, 2026.
