XIII Leonardo Sciascia Colloquium – American Celebrations for the Centenary of the Birth of L. Sciascia

As part of the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of Leonardo Sciascia, the Institute hosts the XIII Leonardo Sciascia Colloquium, seeking to investigate the author’s reception in North America, the way he read American novels and watched famous films, his view of a continent both dreamed of and rejected, and his shared idea of the «crepuscular myth of America: which, when beauty fades, does not know how to cover the mirrors and look inside itself».
