Saint Valentine is one of the most famous saints in the world, but is also among the least understood.

Over the centuries, his true profile has been obscured by questionable historical revisions, which have created confusion and have transformed him into a commercial and media-oriented subject.

Recent studies have made it possible to reconstruct the profile of the saint, who moved between Rome and Terni, Cristiana’s birthplace. Terni has venerated him as a bishop since the fifth century AD.
