Concert with the Italian winners of the “Crescendo International Competition”

Concert with Italian musicians, winners of the “Crescendo International Competition”, dedicated to young and very young musicians, which has been taking place since 2007,
and whose final is held in New York at Carnegie Hall.

The concert features:

STELLA ESPOSITO, piano, 5 years old.

Shee began studying the piano at the age of 4, under the guidance of the teacher Elena Bidoli, at the “Baby Piano School” Musical Cultural Association of Romans d’Isonzo, immediately demonstrating an innate predisposition for the instrument and a great love for music. Stella participated in the XVII edition of the “Crescendo International Music Competition” winning the first prize overall with a score of 30/30 and the possibility of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York.

She performs the following program:

MARGOT MORONI, violin, 9 years old

Born in Padua, she began studying the violin a few months after her fourth birthday with Marco Perin, at the Malipiero Musical Institute in Padua. Since 2022, at the age of 8, she has studied in the violin class of Maestro Dejan Bogdanovich, at the Violin Academy of Chioggia (Venice). In 2023 she joined the youth orchestra of the “Pollini” Conservatory of Padua called “Pollicini” directed by Maestro Rocco Cianciotta. In 2022 she won first prize at the XIV International Musical Entertainment Competition, Young Musicians – “Città di Treviso”. In 2023 she won first prize at the XV International Musical Performance Competition “Città di Treviso”; first prize “Absolute” score 100/100 at the 16th National Competition for Young Musicians “Città di Bardolino”, Jan Langosz – Giuseppe Fricelli, first prize at the 24th International Competition Valsesia Musica Juniores, and first prize at the Crescendo Competition, with a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York, with a score of 28/30.

She performs the following program:

NICCOLO RAGNO, piano, 11 years old

Niccolò began his musical journey at the age of 3 at the Milan Music School and always achieved a grade of 10 cum laude in his exams. At the age of 7 he already attended the solo piano course with Maestro Anna Abbate at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. At 8 he was the only one admitted to the ranking of the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, to the pre-preparatory courses. From the age of 5 he participated in national and international music competitions, placing first in numerous of them. He won 1st Prize in the “Crescendo International Competition” in the 2023 Italian selections. Among other experiences, he also participated in the television broadcast; The Star is You. Niccolò studies at the Milan Conservatory of Music with Maestro Andrea Carcano and is followed by the Piano Friends association under the guidance of Maestro Vincenzo Balzani.
Performs at Carnegie Hall in New York in February 2024.

He performs the following program: Beethoven, Sonata cis- moll, I movimento, “The light of the moon”.

 

CAMILLA RAGNO, piano, 16 years old

Camilla Ragno began her musical journey when she was only 3. Even before the age of 9 she passed the admission exam to the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. She has more than 100 performances to her credit and has participated in and/or won 35 national and international piano competitions, including: Mozart International Piano Competition, International City of Venice Competition, Maurice Ravel Piano Competition, J.S. Piano Competition. Bach, Villa Oliva National Competition, Ugo Amendola Piano Competition and Young Talents Music Competition.

She performs the following program: Liszt, Studio Trascedentale in fa minore n.10.

 

RAICHO PETROSILLO, violin, 10 years old

Raicho Petrosillo, received his first music lessons at the age of 1 from his mother. He began studying the violin at the age of 4 and from the age of 5 he studied with Maestro Raffaele Schiavone. Winner of numerous national and international solo competitions, among which: First Prize: “Eleonora Kojucharov” Competition in Rome 2020, “7 Note Romane” Competition 2021 and 2023, “Crescendo International Competition” in Padua 2021, “Città” Music Competition di Latina” 2022, “Terre di San Severino” Competition in Roccasecca (FR) 2022, “Viareggio in musica” Competition in Viareggio (LU) 2022, “Crescendo International Competition” in L’Aquila 2023. Second Prize: “Crescendo” Competition International Competition” in Padua 2022. Raicho has also actively participated in numerous musical performances.
In 2024 he won First Prize at the Crescendo International Competition and is invited to perform as a soloist at Carnegie Hall in New York.

LEONARDO MORETTI, violin

Leonardo studied violin at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan and attended a Master degree with Francesco Manara, with whom he held a recital for the opening of the opera season of the Teatro la Scala. In 2022 he made his debut first at the Donizetti Theater as a soloist, and then at the Sala Verdi in Milan with Mendelssohn’s Concerto for violin and orchestra. As soloist and first violin he has toured in Switzerland, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Russia, performing in Beijing in the presence of President Xi Jinping, and for the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, for Christmas 2016 at Senate of Rome. Over the years he has won 57 national, regional and international music competitions, including 18 absolute prizes.

He performs the following program:

ANDREA SPERI, piano

EUGENIA NALIVKINA, piano

Evgenia Nalivkina Russia, St. Petersburg. She finished his musical studies at the famous State Conservatory “N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov” with Vladimir Mishuk. In 2005, at the age of 23, she moved to Italy with a scholarship from the italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For several years she has been playing together with Elena Giri, transverse flute, and as a duo they have won various competitions and held numerous concerts. Since 2012 she founded the “Duo Echos” with the violinist Claudio Rado, receiving a scholarship as the best ensemble of the year, participating in numerous competitions and winning several. Since 2008, she began working at various conservatories in Italy as an accompanying pianist and as a piano teacher. Furthermore, she took part in numerous concerts in Italy, Germany and Russia, as a soloist and member of chamber ensembles. In 2017 she became Director of the “Crescendo” International Competition in Italy and created the “POMIR” International Festival, “The Musical Bridge between Italy and other countries”. She is currently a piano teacher at the State Conservatory of Ravenna, Italy.

Andrea Speri (aka ‘the Other Pianist’) started playing the piano at the age of 10. In 2013 he participated, as part of the “International Festival of Different Abilities”, in the competition held in the ‘Teatro Comunale’ of Carpi, placing second and the following year, again in the same competition, this time held in the ‘Teatro Asioli’ of Correggio, reaches first position. In the same years he took part in the “Festival Suoni Condivisi” at San Giovanni in Venere, winning first prize. He was noticed by one of the most famous masters of Italian piano teaching: the composer Remo Vinciguerra. From the day of this special meeting until the premature death of Maestro Vinciguerra, which occurred in 2022, Andrea Speri was guided in the study of music by didactics, and over time he participated in numerous of his courses and masterclasses at academies and music schools throughout Italy. Since the year of its foundation, every year he opens, as a guest, the “Remo Vinciguerra International Award”.
In 2019 he recorded the CD “Andrea Speri & Friends”. In May 2022 he performed, as a soloist, in concert at the “E. F. Dall’Abaco” Conservatory in Verona, and he was invited to participate in the “Fiesta Festival” of Como at Villa Carlotta, by the famous writer Alessandro Baricco. Several times he has played as a soloist accompanied by orchestra, ensemble and string quartets. Last but not least, Andrea assiduously took part in Ezio Bosso’s “Studio Aperto”.
