The exhibition will focus on the ways in which the Albertina Academy designed the City of Turin.
“Metaquadreria”, is a dialogue between art and science in the languages ​​of painting and new technologies.

The Academies of Fine Arts represent an Italian tradition of great importance. They are institutions of high cultural education and inexhaustible creativity. They represent the Italy of tradition and memory, and at the same time of future and innovation. The Academies speak ever evolving languages, explore the limits between real and virtual, and are deeply embedded in the local territory while also extending on an international level.

The Italian Cultural Institute in New York aims to highlight the primary role of the Academies, their teachers and students, and promote their internationalization with this series called “Academies”.
