Italian pianist Francesca Ferraro was born in Sicily in 1998. She is attending the master degree course at the “A.Scontrino” Conservatory of music (Trapani, IT) under the guidance of Giulio Potenza. During her studies she has won several prizes in various competitions such us: 1st prize Concorso Nazionale “Eliodoro Sollima”, Enna; 1st prize Concorso “Antonio Trombone”, Palermo, 1st prize Concorso Nazionale “Città di Palermo”, 2nd prize Concorso Pianistico Nazionale “A.M.A. Calabria” and “Città di Caccamo”, 1st prize Concorso Pianistico Internazionale “Franco Mannino”. She is also the recipient of the “Marcello Marino” prize of the conservatory of Trapani for her talent and pianistic qualities and the “Premio Eccellenze del Belice”. She regularly performs in theaters and concert halls such us Roma, Pistoia, Léon, Spain.
