Moderated by:
Claudio Pagliara
Director, Italian Cultural Institute of New York
The revolution sparked by artificial intelligence is only just beginning. Recent studies challenge the bleakest predictions, according to which AI would have a destructive effect on the world of work. Luciano Floridi, founder and director of Yale’s Department of AI Ethics and one of the world’s leading experts in the field, will outline both the negative and positive impact of this new technology on employment. Although the contours of this revolution are still partly unknown, the conference will seek to identify possible scenarios. The event is intended not only for experts and scholars, but also—and above all—for young people who must decide which career path to pursue.
