Face to Face with the Giants of the Mediterranean: Through the Lens of Alberto Luca Recchi

IMG_5260

Giants (that seem to have emerged from myth) still swim in the Mediterranean: whales, sperm whales, and white sharks. For 40 years, Alberto Luca Recchi has been searching for them and telling the stories of expeditions, encounters, fears, failures and discoveries experienced face-to-face with the most fascinating creatures in our sea.

But getting close to these animals goes beyond adventure: encountering a giant changes the way we look at the sea. And perhaps at ourselves, too
